After graduating in medicine with honours, Dr Wong completed a Master of Medicine at Sydney University (researching neuropeptides in skin disease). Thereafter he completed his specialist training at major Sydney teaching hospitals and has published in various medical journals.
He has presented at both local and international conferences including a major study at a World Congress of Dermatology in the management of Merkel Cell Carcinoma (a rare but deadly form of skin cancer) This published paper is highly cited worldwide in medical texts and literature.
Dr Wong’s commitment to dermatology , either as clinician or in research, has spanned over 15 years. He brings this expertise and experience into treatment of dermatological conditions and skin cancer management.
He relaxes in his spare time with enjoyment of sports, drawing and art, fine dining and travel.
